our story

After 12 years producing cabinets for other cabinet companies under the General Casework brand, company president Steve Johnson conceived of kabi to offer European-style cabinets at a fair price without sacrificing quality or selection. Since inception more than a thousand kabi projects have been built for homes in the Front Range and beyond. Along the way we’ve forged lasting relationships with design professionals, builders and happy end-customers.

our factory

Your cabinets are produced in our highly efficient, environmentally sensitive award-winning Denver factory that utilizes state-of-the-art European technology and equipment with an emphasis on worker safety.  Stagnant conveyors and transfer cars control material flow and eliminate the need for manually picking up or moving cabinets.  In addition to being a paperless shop we grade all our scrap, and leftover pieces that aren’t utilized as accessory parts are ground up to create cylinder briquettes.  The latter takes up minimal space in the landfill. Our staff is dedicated to quality, service, and creating a product ready for installation.  Please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to take you on a tour.
